About Home Care

Home care means having a qualified, trained caregiver come to your house and take care of the tasks which you or your family member are unable to complete independently. This could be bathing and dressing, or running errands and making meals. Home care is done best when it is a partnership between the agency and the family being served. When each partner provides support for the unexpected things which arise, your loved one will always get the care they want. Family members have things that come up – you have a life you’re actively leading, but you still need to make sure things like mom’s appointments, housework, medication refills, and personal visits are covered. This is what home care is about. It isn’t simply a “plan of care”- this is about a person you love, and about how he or she wants to live. Home care provides you with peace of mind.

Our partnership will provide the immediate and on-going care needed, so that your loved one’s life, and your life, can continue and feel complete. We realize this can be a difficult decision wrought with a bit of worry and guilt. Through collaboration, we will develop and maintain a plan of care that centers on the rights of the person we are serving to live as independently as possible and continue to live their life where they wish- at home.
